Located at 2699 West Gaoke Road, Pudong District, the eastern campus covers an area of 60 mu with 500 beds. With the support of the governments and the society, the opening ceremony was held in 2009, and the construction of infrastructure were completed in 2012. The eastern campus was put into operation in August 2013 and is a 3-A-Class Ob & Gyn specialized hospital in Pudong.

The eastern campus has beautiful environment and advanced facilities. It has clinical and medical technology departments including Obstetrics, Gynecology, Neonatology, Fetal Medicine, Assisted Reproductive Medicine, Family Planning, Breast Surgery, Surgical Anesthesiology, Reproductive Immunology, Cervical Diseases, Integrated TCM &WM, Maternal and Children Health Care. Meanwhile, it owns Institute of Translational Medicine, Institute of Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Institute of Gynecologic Oncology, and Center for Maternal and Child Health of Tongji University School of Medicine and other scientific research institutions to provide a good platform for solving practical clinical problems. The clinical simulation training center for obstetrics and gynecology, with international standards, has been established to carry out training for practical skills and panoramic group simulation exercises, which guarantees the improvment of the  practical clinical skills of medical staff.

The campus has comprehensive disciplines, outstanding talents, significant strengths in medical technologies. It has general outpatient clinics, specialty and specialized disease clinics, specialist clinics, special needs clinics and comprehensive inpatient facilities. It is equipped with large medical equipment such as CT and MRI scanners and dedicated to providing women and infants with professional, personalized and high-quality services to meet multi-level needs .
