The chief physician of Shanghai First Maternal and Infant Hospital. Dr. Wang has engaged in the clinical work for family planning and cervical diseases for more than 30 years. He is a member of the 6th, 7th, and 8th Committees of the Family Planning Branch of Chinese Medical Association, a member of the 3rd Review Committee of the China Medical Science and Technology Awards, the member of the 7th Council of Shanghai Family Planning and Reproductive Health Society, the member of expert group of Shanghai Science and Technology Commission Biomedical Group. In the past 20 years, he focused on preventing and reducing the complications of family planning surgery, especially on the abortion, induction of labor with high risk factors, such as uterine scar pregnancy after cesarean section, abnormal placenta attachment, uterine malformation, repeated missed abortion, intrauterine adhesions, difficult intrauterine device removal, etc. He specializes in various difficult abortion and induction surgery, hysteroscopic intrauterine adhesions and endometrial polyps, cervical HPV infection or cervical lesion surgery, abnormal uterine bleeding, menstrual abnormalities, and adenomyosis.
