Chief physician, former director of obstetrics. Graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine in May, 1985. Dr. Qiu has been working in Shanghai First Maternal and Infant Hospital since July 1985. She went to Japan for further study in 1997. Dr. Qiu has been already working for more than 30 years and has rich clinical experience.She has unique insights into perinatal  care and labor management. She is good at delivery of high-risk pregnant womeny, severe obstetric complications management, and the prevention and treatment of postpartum hemorrhage. She performed clinical trial in treatment of postpartum hemorrhage in cesarean section using uterine compression (i.e. B-lynch suture) .The paper was published in the core journale. Dr. Qiu treats patients like family, and she is widely loved.
