The Shanghai Municipal Health and Family Planning Commission recently announced the list of funding for the top priority Clinical Medical Center and Key Discipline Construction Projects. A total of 22 clinical medical centers and 22 clinical key disciplines obtain funds. The “obstetrics and gynecology” declared by Wan Xiaoping,dean of the Institute as the academic leader of our hospital has won the top priority clinical key disciplines project funding.
This clinical key discipline construction project will focus on the three sub-disciplines of gynecological oncology, perinatal medicine and reproductive medicine.With three clinically important diseases and frontier scientific problems of endometrial cancer, early embryonic development abnormalities and fetal-derived adult diseases as breakthrough,it focuses on the strengths of disciplines, promotes the clinical transformation with basic research, promotes the cultivation of talents through project implementation and finally becomes the first-class talent, research and innovative obstetrics and gynaecology department in China.
