French National Ministry of Health's Honorary Director Claude Lavigne Visits for Exchange

Professor Claude Lavigne, honorary director of the French National Ministry of Health and honorary chairman of the Sino-French Health Research Institute, visited the Shanghai First Maternity and Infant Hospital on August 28 for a collaborative exchange. 

He was accompanied by professor Lei Ping, the executive director of the Sino-French Health Research Institute. Wang Yu, president of the hospital, Zhou Qian, the deputy Party secretary, Li Xiaocui, the vice president and other hospital representatives attended the meeting.

During the visit, Wang delivered a warm welcome address to Lavigne and Lei, expressing sincere gratitude for their visit. 

Li Zhen, deputy director of the hospital's administrative office, provided an introduction to the hospital's history, mission, and recent research achievements. 

Both sides engaged in discussions and exchanges to explore potential future opportunities and challenges for collaboration. 

The guests also visited the International Medical Department and Simulation Training Center, gaining insights into the latest technologies, medical processes, and the training system for clinical and research personnel.

Lavigne said this exchange would bring new opportunities for cooperation in the field of healthcare between China and France, and he looks forward to jointly advancing progress in the healthcare sector. 

Wang said he believed that with an open and collaborative approach, both parties can achieve mutual success. This exchange represents a valuable exploration of collaborative efforts to promote medical innovation, improve healthcare services, and address medical challenges.
